Which exam is easier to crack: RBI Office Attendant or NIACL AO? 

In India, the prospect of having a government job is quite enticing. A large number of people apply for government jobs because of the added life security and the exciting pay scale that it offers. What is NIACL AO?

NIACL, which stands for New India Assurance Company Limited is a government-owned insurance company based in Mumbai. A NIACL Administrative Officer is a first-level officer with administrative and authoritative responsibilities.The responsibilities of  NIACL AO include evaluating insurance plans, analysing terms, resolving insurance claims, assessing risk estimates, and producing official statements.

Employees who work as an AO in NIACL must work for the company for at least four years in order to reap the benefits of a promotion. After four years, their duties and posts change, and their pay scale also improves. Working for a reputed government-owned insurance company is a great way to boost your social status.

What is RBI Office Attendant?

The Reserve Bank of India conducts a recruitment procedure for a variety of positions every year, and RBI Office Attendant is one of them. An RBI office attendant is entrusted with properly organising files, keeping track of incoming papers and letter entries for other government offices, passing various documents to other departments, and maintaining that all necessary items are neatly arranged at the officer’s desk, among other things.

Candidates who are interested in applying for this position have to first pass the Reserve Bank of India’s online examination which is followed by an interview. Candidates must prepare for both if they want to be considered for provisional placement. Final candidates are chosen by conducting a country-wide competitive exam. After the completion of the online competitive exam, the candidates have to pass a language competency exam.

Which is easier to crack?

The RBI Office Attendant exam is conducted in two stages – Online Objective Test and Language Proficiency Test. The online objective test contains four sections: General English, General Awareness, Reasoning, and Numerical Ability. Each section contains 30 questions. Candidates who qualify in the online test move on to the interview round.

The NIACL AO exam is conducted in three stages – Prelims, Mains, and Interview. Candidates have to pass each stage to be recruited for the NIACL post. The Prelims consists of three sections. The questions are objective in nature. The Mains consist of two sections; one of them is objective and the other is descriptive in nature. The final round is the interview round, after which the qualifying candidates are shortlisted for the NIACL AO post.

Any competitive exam can be easily cracked with the right attitude and appropriate preparation plan. The exam level of both the exams is moderate to difficult but since the RBI Office Attendant exam only consists of two stages, it is easier to crack as compared to the NIACL AO exam, which consists of a total of three stages.
